(2).That the actual spot is only some nine miles
from this great Provincial capital.

immediate chase,had not sufficient speed to overtake the
captured launch, all allowance being made for the delay in
picking up the passengere thrown overboard.
Thus beneath the verys eyes of the highest Provincial
Authorities the piracy of a pesoeful British trader is
allowed to obtain.
